Waist Training

I ordered a shaper before, and it was supposed to help slim waist and tone your buttocks, however the thing was so tight and wasn't comfy at all. As well it bothered me below my waist, it was a form of a panty like. Guess that had to do with the material it was made with.Highly don't recommend those what so ever.

So  I finally was able to get to my new shaper and once I had put it on. I noticed a difference within seconds. After having some back pain this week(I have scoliosis so back pain for me is pretty normal), I've been trying not to take aspirins for the pain. I was just going to soak in warm water with espon salt, and use my heating pad like I usually do  but I never got around to it because of my shaper.

It instantly made my back pain go away, it felt good. I love the way it lifts my breast gives them a more full look since  I already  have small breasts even though they have been getting bigger throughout my weight gain journey. However, I'm really not looking to slim down my waist, because I already have a slim one. My goal is to maintain a slim waist and slimmer stomach.

I really got it to help me out with my back pain so I don't have to get surgery at all! Now I would recommend this to those who have a lot of weight around the stomach area to help with slimming it down, as well making sure to  eat healthy and do light exercises. It'll help with the "weight loss journey", it would do an amazing job for that. The shapers has many different purposes to each it's own.

But if you are like me looking to maintain the slim waist, have back problems, or even just want to look sexy! You should get one. I am selling two different types of shapers. The one that I have is called the Treasures Magical Waist Shaper, which is a vest that has a cut out under the bust so it can push it up. Has adjustable straps, and four rows to adjust. The second one is a Treasures Basic Shaper which is for people who have a short torso. Both of the shapers fits firms, tightens and tones your stomach while doing everyday activities and it forces good posture and also hold in your stomach so your abdominal muscles are working.

I will be starting to work out this coming week(Week 5 and that's when I'll do my post on Week 4 & Week 5 Sunday) and will be using my shaper.  The shapers that I offer are reasonable priced unlike some that are out on the market.

Left: Treasures Basic Waist Shaper
Right: Treasures Magical Waist Shapers

All in all, I would rate my shaper 8/10 due to the fact I'm not going on a "weight loss journey", but once I get some before and after pictures from customers who are using it for that purpose I'll change my answer.  If you do decided to purchase one use the discount code "TWG20" for 20% off your order as well let me know about your experience with the shaper or just your weight gain journey in general. You can leave comments, email me, or find me on Instagram and Twitter

Taking A Break...

I'll be taking a break from blogging my progress however I will be keeping up with everything with my journal that I have but blogging has to be put aside for the moment until everything settles down.  Due to the fact I have a lot of school projects to complete as well work so it's hard making sure to post my progress each week like I want. So I decided that I will post every 2-3 weeks and just combine all of the weeks in one post. It'll be much easier for me.

Sorry, if you have been reading and following my progress but if just want to know how I'm doing throughout the week and stuff like that you can simply email me (adored.treasures2013@gmail.com) I reply to those much quicker.

Here's a couple photos that I have taken over the weekend. I noticed that I have gained weight more in my thighs, breast, and buttocks exactly where I wanted them to go.

Today, I had to help a lady get her closet together (if you didn't know I love organizing closets and just everything check out how I organized all my clothes, shoes, handbags, jeans, etc all in one closet and I never have to iron things again click here.
but any who she had some things she was going to throw away, but I didn't think that was a good idea because I came across some amazing treasures such as these awesome a** ankle weights. Perfect for squats! Need I say more?

Lastly, I soon will being waist training so that I can keep my stomach and waist slimmer so the weight that I  have gained don't go to my stomach but good thing, it's been going in the right places but just to be on the safe side I will be starting next week which will be week 5 and I will be working out in it and everything.   If you're looking to buy one or want more information you can visit my website adored-treasures.com and you can use the discount code TWG20 to receive 20% off your order. If you do purchase one please let me know so I can follow your weight gain/waist training journey. You can find me on Instagram @therealdreaa and you can even tag your before/after photos to me using the hashtag #adoredtreasures. I'll love to see them, I will be using the hashtag so you can see some of my photos using the waist shaper.

Week 3

Can't believe week three has come and gone.

This week has went by fast, but I enjoyed it. I started taking my new vitamins, Flaxseed Oil and a Multi Vitamin have to say I've seen changes in my energy which is great. Now onto my week, so this hasn't been a good smoothie making week *sad face* I wasted so many veggies and fruits. I don't know what happened... well I think I do, I've been researching some smoothie recipes and they were different so I wanted to try them but I don't think that was a very bright idea. So for week 4 i'll make sure to stick with the basic strawberry and banana smoothie. So today I weighed myself and I'm at 113 lbs now. Woot Woot!

I'm so proud of myself, its just so shocking that I'm seeing results. I'm very happy and I just feel good knowing that I am changing myself for the better each and everyday. This week I came across some amazing news via youtube and other sites... The biggest thing to gain weight is to eat faster. Sounds crazy but I noticed when I ate slower I would have a nice size portion but I would get full fast and still had food left. Well, thats because it only takes 20 mins for the brain to get a signal telling your stomach you're full so I tried eating fast and it was new and different but I got my meal finished and was able to get thirds. Which is great since I'm on a weight gain journey. Saturday evening I picked up a new item that i'll be trying this week. Muscle Milk Protein Powder i'll be adding the powder into my shakes/smoothies for more calories.Oh, and before I wrap my little intro about my week I'll show this picture that i've been using when prepping my meals on Sunday.

 What I've been eating/drinking:

Eggs and Spinach with two pieces of toast with butter and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Crab Alfredo with a Crab Cake and a glass of Cranberry Ginger Ale

I forget to write and take pictures of the rest of my meals *sad face*

Week 2

Woo! Week 2 is down!

This week has been pretty busy, Sunday evening I attended the Cleveland Natural Hair Care & Fitness Expo and had a great time. I met some wonderful people and gained a lot of knowledge.

I met this fitness expert Sabrina Davis; and I talked with her and told her about my story... how I was on a weight gain journey and have been doing pretty well but I figured with her being an actual trainer should could give me some more help and tips. So I ended up purchasing the 10 Day Cleanse, the fact I'm suppose to see results in 10 days made me want to try it out. She recently sent me the plan, it included what I should eat for the 10days as well a grocery list. When you hear the word "cleanse" you think clearing out your system however I have a 10 Day Weight Gain Cleanse. Cool right? Hopefully it works out for me. I'm not sure when i'll go out and purchase some of the items listed so I can start plus I have to make sure I set aside a good week when I am not doing anything to start and follow the plan.

This time  around I created a food diary and wrote down the meals I have been eating throughout the day, I still don't count calories because that is too much. If I eat the 8 meals a day like i'm suppose to I am likey to reach my calorie intake. Now I've been slacking eat my 8 meals a day but I manage to get in at least 6-7 meals. Most of my calories comes from my shakes I do know that so if I miss a meal I make sure I make me a shake to kind of catch up. I started drinking the Boost Plus it I don't really like the taste compared to the Ensure. I found myself drinking one right before bed, I didn't add it to my shakes because it makes the shake nasty to me. As well I started taking my zinc but I forgot about it so I only took it for one day. So this week i'll make sure to take it with the others(recently purchased a multi -vitamin and fish oil). I bought me a pill case so I can remember to take them everyday because I suck with taking pills.

Lastly I have this e-reader i'm not sure of the name of it but it's with borders and it's the old version but I came across some great books to read since I'm not going to be working out until I reach 120 lb maybe. You know I found a book that deals with gaining weight so I picked up the "Dr Reuben's Quick Weight-Gain Program*" By Dr. David Reuben this book is so amazing. I've gotten some more tips for gaining weight as well the books include recipes and much much more.

Week 1

Woo! Week 1 is over and completed.

It has been a good start. I've seen some changes and was proud of myself. I have gained 2 lbs in a week, which is really good for me. I have not been keeping track of my calorie intake because of the fact I found it was annoying to do plus I wasn't eating the same thing everyday and the calories would change. I didn't keep a steady meal pattern because of the fact i'm limited to eat certain foods due to my braces, so basically a lot of soft foods that I have been eating. I didn't take my zinc at all, nor did I do any work outs I just ate my 8 meals a day and chilled like always.

I really want to get to my ideal weight, 130 but I just need to find more high-calorie soft foods to eat. The Ensure I would have to say played a big part in my journey. For the first couple of days I put them in my smoothies and I didn't like that what so ever it tasted...just nasty. The reason I was doing that because I was afraid to drink the whole bottle, wasn't sure of the taste. After my epic fails in the smoothies I decided to just gone ahead and drink it by itself; not too bad at all. I actually love the taste of the Ensure. I found myself drinking one right before going to bed and it kept me full until my next meal at 8 am. Getting to my meal plan and times to eat. I took off the 6 am because the first two days went well but the others I just wanted to stay in my bed and stay warm. So throughout the day I just added another snack to toss in.

What I've been eating/drinking:

Fish

Sweet Potatoes
Mash Potatoes
Fruits (Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, and Cantaloupe)
Peanut butter
Eggs
Multi Grain Bread
Ensure
Water
Mineral Water
Ramen Noodles

I find myself checking my weight every Sunday and I update in on the right hand side of the blog.

Weight Gain Journey: Week 1 Intro

So, I think most of you who read my post from Vinted.com about the weight gain journey may relate to being "skinny" and all of it's related struggles. Personally, this has been a big struggle all my life. I am not among the few lucky who can eat and pack on the extra weight, sadly. It's been a struggle for forever, however after all my researching and studying for four months about the human body, and weight gain. I am proud to say I think I have found the problem that my "skinny" self has been slacking over the years.

I basically just need a Fresh Start.

So I will be starting my weight gain journey, Feb 24th(today) and sharing my experiences here. I'll be sharing recipes, supplements, and workouts. I will update post every Sunday at 10am EST on how my previous week/weekend has gone.

If you're also starting a Weight Gain Journey, I'd love to hear from you and how everything is going! Comment below and we can support each other!

I'm very excited about this weight gain journey. I really hope that all of my studying and research pays off and the support of all youmy treasures and vinites, will most definitely turn this into a successful journey for me!

The Wait Is Over...

The wait is over... March 3rd was too long plus I  kept pushing the date back to start my weight gain journey. Which means I would've probably never started. So I managed to get a decent amount of items to start so i'm going with it. I've currently been trying to get in the routine I set for myself and it's been going well. I have took my before photos and will be taking photos of my body throughout my journey to see the progress. I will updated post each Sunday at 10 am EST about how my current week/weekend has been with photos of how my body is looking.
Have some great news. I gained a little weight not much but it's something.
February 18, 2014  I was 106.2 now I've made my way to 106.8. Yay! I'm so proud even though it's not a lot but I'm sure not going to give up what so ever. I will make it to my goal(130 lbs) hopefully before August.

I will be posting some of my meals throughout the week on the FOOD page. Once I get my supplements and vitamins they will go on the proper page as well.

Can't believe the time has finally come for me to actually start my journey. This is a big step in my life and life changing for once I have finally got myself together and became the strong person I knew I could be and take this step to make myself happy and feel much better:)

Check back next Sunday!
