Woo! Week 1 is over and completed.
It has been a good start. I've seen some changes and was proud of myself. I have gained 2 lbs in a week, which is really good for me. I have not been keeping track of my calorie intake because of the fact I found it was annoying to do plus I wasn't eating the same thing everyday and the calories would change. I didn't keep a steady meal pattern because of the fact i'm limited to eat certain foods due to my braces, so basically a lot of soft foods that I have been eating. I didn't take my zinc at all, nor did I do any work outs I just ate my 8 meals a day and chilled like always.
I really want to get to my ideal weight, 130 but I just need to find more high-calorie soft foods to eat. The Ensure I would have to say played a big part in my journey. For the first couple of days I put them in my smoothies and I didn't like that what so ever it tasted...just nasty. The reason I was doing that because I was afraid to drink the whole bottle, wasn't sure of the taste. After my epic fails in the smoothies I decided to just gone ahead and drink it by itself; not too bad at all. I actually love the taste of the Ensure. I found myself drinking one right before going to bed and it kept me full until my next meal at 8 am. Getting to my meal plan and times to eat. I took off the 6 am because the first two days went well but the others I just wanted to stay in my bed and stay warm. So throughout the day I just added another snack to toss in.
What I've been eating/drinking:
Fish
Sweet Potatoes
Mash Potatoes
Fruits (Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, and Cantaloupe)
Peanut butter
Eggs
Multi Grain Bread
Ensure
Water
Mineral Water
Ramen Noodles
I find myself checking my weight every Sunday and I update in on the right hand side of the blog.
